Talk Yourself Up: A Fine Line

I talked about recession proofing your career yesterday. One of the points that Forbes made was to talk up your accomplishments.

That’s a very fine line.

You definitely want to be recognized for your contributions to your income whether it be a start up with five employees or a large multi-national company with 20,000 employees.

Yet, you never want to be “that guy” that only talks about himself. Humility and a hard work ethic will get you a lot father than being Mr. Boasting. Just my opinion…
